Sir/Madam, With reference to the above subject, it is submitted that a fatal electrical accident occurred on 18-05-2026 at about 10:20 PM in the jurisdiction of USD O&M-4, Kolar. The victim, Master Mahboob, aged about 6 years, son of Imtiyaz, resident of 1st Cross, Phool Shah Mohalla, Kolar, had attended the 40th death day function of his relative along with his parents. At about 10:20 PM, I/C AE Sri M. Vijay Kumar received call from a resident informing that an electrical accident had occurred to a boy while he was walking beneath the pendal erected near the function place. Immediately after noticing the incident, he switched off the power supply by tripping Feeder F7 Kolar Town fed from 220/66/11 KV MUSS, Kolar. Immediately there after, the I visited the accident spot and conducted a preliminary inspection. During inspection, it was observed that the ground surface was wet due to heavy rain and wind, the local residents and relatives present at the spot. It was also learnt from the public present that the LT ACSR conductor of one phase had snapped, and the victim who was in close proximity came into contact with the live conductor and sustained electrocution, resulting in a fatal electrical accident. The victim was immediately shifted to SNR Hospital, Kolar, for treatment, where the doctors declared him brought dead. The exact cause of the accident is yet to be ascertained and the department is awaiting the post-mortem report for detailed findings. Further, the relatives of the deceased have lodged a complaint in the local police station regarding the incident. Sir/Madam, Sub: Fire accident in Nilgiri plantation due to unauthorized electrical connection in Sy. Nos. 22/3, 22/4, 22/5, 22/9, 22/12 & 22/15 of Minasandra Village – Reg. With reference to the above subject, as per Aee Malur subdvn it is to inform that Shri Basavaraju S/o Venkataswamy, resident of Minasandra Village, Lakkur (H), Malur (T), has submitted a petition stating that Nilgiri (Eucalyptus) trees grown in about 2 acres of land in the above survey numbers have been completely burnt and reduced to ashes. As per his complaint, it is reported that Shri Ramesh @ Sikallu Abbayyappa and Shri Munikrishna have unauthorizedly drawn electrical wires to a newly drilled borewell (unauthorized IP set) passing through the middle of the said land. It is further stated that due to multiple joints in the illegal wiring, a short circuit occurred, which led to the outbreak of fire and resulted in burning of the entire Nilgiri plantation. Lorry bearing Registration Number KA-01-AR-0890 around 3:50am on 07.04.2026 hit the 2 number of LT pole at 15th cross road AECS Layout A Block singasandra unit, while cutting the damaged pole LT over head conductor for restoring the power supply sri Gurumurthy LM aged 31 years old felldown due to breakage of good RCC Pole along with ladder. The Victim is admitted to Raksha Hospital kudlu for medical supervision. It was inspected and found that, due to lorry hit the 2number of LT Pole at 15th cross road AECS Layout A Block singasandra while restoring the power supply the Gurumurthy LM aged about 31 years climbed the LT Pole with the ladder while disconnecting the LT over Head line accidentally the good LT RCC pole broken and fell down, immediately the victim is shifted to Raksha Hospital kudlu for medical treatment.
